Infineon Raceway is one of the premier road racing venues in the country, and one of the few on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series circuit. The facility first opened in 1968 and serves as the gateway to the beautiful and scenic Sonoma Valley, which serves as one of the top wine-producing regions in the world.

God Bless our Armed Forces and their families and those who have paid for our freedoms with their sacrifice.

PJ Jones, subbing for Rooterman, is 18th of 30 and 5th of the field-fillers with a 90.899. That locks in Boris Badinov and locks out McVickers.

You guys getting enough rain for those flowers?

Butch Leitzinger locks in the Awesome One, sends Menard out of here early, and puts Bad Ash on the bubble with a 91.051 (18th of 32, 7th of 12 field-fillers).

Lots of rain this year!! Although we missed out on yesterdays and todays so far.

One of the Busch cars running up there tomorrow will have a salute to the fallen firefighters in So. Carolina.

I’m interested to see how Ron Fellows does in the 96 now that he doesn’t HAVE to qualify like most years he’s run Sonoma. HOF racing has done pretty well with the COT and planning on a second car for next year.

We go live to Milwaukee for the Trucks pre-race show. It couldn't be a better day; upper-70s at the track, mostly-clear skies.

As long as TP holds out, I'll keep up with the qualifying.

They went to Milwaukee (well, West Allis) fo rthe pre-race show.

That is a unique infield. You won't see any tents or RVs in it (track's too flat).

Blame-me puts himself in the race, knocks out Bad Ash, and puts Suthurn Burton on the hot seat with a 91.375 (11th of 37, 3rd of 13 field-fillers)

Bifflage 10th of 38 with a 91.462.

Don’t mind the typos. I’m not used to the slightly-smaller keys and typing with the keyboard on my lap.

Biffle did pretty well considering his troubles this year with the car set-ups.

Bow-wow 7th of 38 with a 77.948.

Remember, we have ride-bys here in the land of cheese and beer.
