Infineon Raceway is one of the premier road racing venues in the country, and one of the few on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series circuit. The facility first opened in 1968 and serves as the gateway to the beautiful and scenic Sonoma Valley, which serves as one of the top wine-producing regions in the world.
God Bless our Armed Forces and their families and those who have paid for our freedoms with their sacrifice.
God Bless America

Somebody needs to punt JPMover. Team orders.
LOL It's sad how far NASCAR has fallen the past several years. Now everybody wants it to be clean cut no aggressive drivers. What brought a lot of people to NASCAR was the much more aggressive driving than you could get in open wheel. Now it's like these drivers can't handle a little fender rubbing and people start whining.
Some people say it was Sr's death - that he was the last of the aggressive old-school drivers who would race the wheels off of every car they drove, and that Stewart is just holding on, but I think when the salaries went up, drivers stopped caring as much. What do you care if you finish 10th or 20th, you still making a ton of money.

Jeez #66 just got the bonehead move of the race award. He’s lucky he didn’t knock the car into any pit crew members.

Major pit road clusters... Fortunate those guys pushing that car weren’t run over....

What a STUPID and BORING race.
The only real drama is fuel strategies. No one knows who is really leading the race because of fuel strategies. And like years past —
IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU HAVE THE FASTEST CAR!!

Hey, I left to go wash last night's BBQ dishes, wipe the counters, put a load of work clothes in the wash, and start the chicken marinating at 40 laps to go.
When I came back, there were 35 to go, and I didn't have to watch one commercial! Woo!
YMMV :o)

I sorta hate Sonoma anyhow. All I have to do is think about January, and chipping ice with no racing to grow an appreciation. It's way too hot to be outside polishing clear coat right now...
