Infineon Raceway is one of the premier road racing venues in the country, and one of the few on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series circuit. The facility first opened in 1968 and serves as the gateway to the beautiful and scenic Sonoma Valley, which serves as one of the top wine-producing regions in the world.

And once again, I'm a bit behind in the field-filler race. We need to come up with a nickname for Butch Leitzinger, who is also locked in. That last spot is between PJ Jones (90.899 mph/78.813 seconds) and Nesquik.
Hambone 34th of 47 with a 90.592.
The Sauter sister doing the National Anthem tonight.

The flyover was early, and once she got to the high notes, the Sauter sister ran like Mini-Sauter in qualifying.
There's the ride-by.
Ex-Candyman 11th of 48 with a 91.827.

Neither is driving :-P
Nesquik goes home to close out the field-filler portion of the show; 90.779 puts him 35th of 49 and 10 of the 17 field-fillers.
3 more bullets for MacMurray to dodge - Young Candyman, Rocket and JPMoveover.

That it was when she tried to hit the high notes.

Young Candyman 36th of 50 with a 90.758.
Rocket 9th of 51 with a 92.052.
That leaves JPMoveover between MacMurray and an early February race.

My only hope of getting anything more than 1 point for qualifying.

Isn't the first driver I confused with a European athlete; won't be the last :-)
JPMoveover must not be a road-course ringer; 90.976 puts him 32nd to close out qualifying.

Is anybody staying for the race? If not, I’ll shut down the laptop and fall asleep in front of the TV.

Green flag.
The Mile is a 1-groove track just like Martinsville.
Skinner collects 5 bonus points, and Hornaday gets turned for caution #1. They've got only 4 sets of tars for the day, and set #1 got used up in practice.
