Infineon Raceway is one of the premier road racing venues in the country, and one of the few on the NASCAR Winston Cup Series circuit. The facility first opened in 1968 and serves as the gateway to the beautiful and scenic Sonoma Valley, which serves as one of the top wine-producing regions in the world.

I like the flat screen on the tailgate of the #17 Ford truck. Now THAT’s the way to watch a race.

Wow Joe just barely beat Stremme who couldn’t get the car to shift gears.

The ex-GI Joe definitely not front row this week; 86.661 puts him 36th of 39 (and second-slowest of the 37 teams that took times). I’ll bet he’s glad he raced his way into the top 35 with a brand-new team.

That would be the best way to be at the track. Adding that maybe with the flat screen on the side of an RV with a bathroom and ice and fridge inside. :)

MacMurray dodges one bullet; Fellows 8th-fastest of 40 with a 91.887.
How did JPMoveover do in practice?

I missed practice, at least his part. I was trying to catch up on the rest of the goings on.
Now I have to decide whether to take Boris or Fellows in “C”

No RVs in the infield here.
The Big Brown Truck makes the show with a 91.644 (12th of 41, 3rd of 14 field-fillers), knocking out Suthurn Burton and putting Jonsey on the hot seat.
The Green Machine 27th of 42 with a 90.996.

Well, the cars drive a lot like when DJ started.
That is no 9.25-degree banking there in the corners of the oldest auto race track in the world. I know; I've driven and walked it.

Northurn Burton takes some revenge for his brother, posts a 92.258 to put him 5th of 43.
Under 10 drivers to go.

OK no RV's, then I will take it to Phoenix or Vegas or Dega. :)
Oh wait DAYTONA 2008. Jr with his new team.
As I posted privately to some this is his personal sponsor NOT the car but a new sponsor nevertheless.
He's as happy as a boy on Christmas day with all the new toys. So far he's only gotten a digital camera. :)

I got that e-mail.
Don't have the link handy, but Jr's car is the 3rd-most valuable according to Forbes (Flash and JJ are 1-2, Smoke's 4th and Robot's 5th).

Klaus is taking Red Baron’s plane home early; 89.438 puts him 41st of 45 and last of 14 field fillers. It also puts Texas Terry in the show on time.

They tend to do that about this time every year.
Make that last of 15 field-fillers for Klaus.
Herm is also going home early; 89.883 puts him 39th of 46, 15 of 16 field-fillers. That locks in the Goose.

Junior said he was going for a top 15 place run and was surprised. He said if he can stay on the blacktop and do that 110 more times, he will have a good race going!!! LOL!!! Gotta love him,...
