But he won’t, and it’s too risky to leave the state to the erratic Andre Bauer. Now if Mike Campbell were the Lieutenant Governor now, it would be a different story.

Agreed. Mark Sanford would make a fantastic, conservative Senator. But he has said (sorry, I don’t have a link) he feels he can be more effective as a Governor. Don’t know as how I can disagree with that.
