We wonder if they lived a lie for decades and were too embarassed to admit that they were liberals. When they retired, they drop all pretentions of being conservative.

Or just moles reaping the finances and jump in when they are needed to pull a Ross Perot.

A cynical mindset? Maybe.

A possibility? Definitely.

I was referring to the non politicians, who we know, who turn liberal when they retire.

Obviously not teachers and other governement workers. We actually know two couples, who were teachers and principals and are very conservative since they retired.
