We may end up seeing what happened in 2000, Democrats voting in the Republican Primary to influence the nomination.

I think you are very right on this. My wife and I are politically very active or at least tuned-in. I sent the Thompson site link to our three adult children and then followed up with a phone call or conversation. Not a one of them knew who he was before I sent them the link and then talked with them. They all said they would vote for anyone who was running against Hillary and each of them thought Rudy was there only choice.

I think Fred Thompson will be able to hold his own in any debate or interview. I am using the same policy for Fred Thompson as I did for Newt Gingrich, who by the way I fully supported early on. Give ‘em the stage and lets see how they do. We’ll know the right person when he or she comes along!

I like the sound of Fred Thompson/J.C. Watts ticket!
