This thread needs some of your Fred-silliness.

The Hunter campaign should take note of what Fred has done.

The Hunter supporters are hating on Fred big-time, calling Fred a globalist and pro-open borders and such.

Doesn’t every thread need JCEccles’ unique brand of constructive criticism?

Marie Ragghianti says he is not lazy and was hardworking.

Okay, well, that is evidence. I would like to see more tangible evidence, however, of his effectiveness and drive. I favor Romney, but a charged up Thompson would certainly be acceptable.

Things like this bother me, from a USA Today story:

"I can't remember exactly the point that I said, 'I'm going to do this,' " Thompson says, his 6-foot, 6-inch frame sprawled comfortably across a couch in a hotel suite.

Those images we have of Romney are of him in action, he is usually standing, moving, acting. Thompson, he is sprawled comfortably across a couch.

If you do a Google image search on Romney, it is hard to find a picture of him sitting. On Thompson, most are of him sitting. Voters, as did Hamilton, want energy in the executive. If the voters pick up that Fred would be a Sitting President, they will turn to the Democrat.

Well don’t get your hopes up too high and then you won’t be let down later when a) he doesn’t win or b) he wins but doesn’t live up to your expectations.

Well don't you get your hopes up to high because he may a) win and b) he may do well as president.

The key to not being disappointed by politicians is to have drastically low expectations. I’m all set.

Prez. Bush made me happy 60% of the time.

Thanks. I finally managed to get it to work, but that's not IMHO a well-designed web site. Without your help I would have given up.

Is the site fully up and running? No.

My point exactly. I didn't lie about anything on the site, I said it was not as developed as other candidates' sites, which apparently you agree with.

No fund raising?

Fund raising is cited as the reason for not announcing, so that he avoids the deadline and needn't reveal that he has again lagged behind other candidates. If the numbers were impressive, there would be leaks, not rumors.

No organization? The campaign has been hiring people all over the place.

Okay, Fred is hiring people. That is neccessary but not sufficient to assembling an organization.

You Mitt people don't do yourselves any favors by attempting this obfuscation of the truth.

You haven't shown I am obfuscating anything. You need apologize or excuse FDT's lack of performance in every phase of a campaign... the web site is just started, there are rumors of fund raising, he is hiring people that will eventually form an organization. You cannot cite concrete accomplishments in his tardy campaign, so I get the You Mitt People business in an effort to discredit my points which you were unable to do with evidence.

Like I said, you Mitt people do yourself no favors by using these deceptive, phony tactics. They may make you feel better for now, but in the long run, you’re not doing anything but digging the hole deeper.

Did you also mention that the list of topics at the bottom should match that at the top, or that his web site should probably mention his youtube channel?

I didn’t, but I pointed them to the thread and you just did. There is a link to the youtube channel down at the bottom of the main page and on the blog. They could make it more pronounced though.

You Mitt people don't do yourselves any favors by attempting this obfuscation of the truth. If you want to dislike Fred or prefer Mitt, nobody really cares. But if you're looking to influence people to vote for your guy, spreading obvious lies and distortions of the truth are hardly the way to go about doing it.

Gosh, your right PRS. I'll refrain from any posting, though it be factual, that might be construed negative against Thompson. I don't know what I was thinking. In the future I'll strive to make my posts on Thompson threads, more in line with yours on Romney threads, where a beacon of light and truth shines forth that should be a model for all Freepers.

Yeah, until then, you can continue to support your gun grabbing, medicine socializing, homosexual agenda loving lib from Massachusetts. If you were any smarter, you’d see what a hypocrite you are to attack any of the other candidates, much less Fred.

Good thing for you that you’re not so well endowed in the ole brains department. Otherwise, you’d be ashamed.

What the heck does “again lagged behind other candidates” mean”? That is just false. He hasn’t been You can’t understand that he wouldn’t want to have to compare a few weeks’ worth of fund raising to the other candidates’ three month totals?

And there HAVE been “leaks”. He already has at least $5 million, as of early last week.

I guess he has to reveal all his organizational plans to YOU?
I know that the grass roots organizations are in full swing.

Oops. My husband distracted me, and I clicked post accidently.

Anyway, he hasn’t lagged behind at all, because he hasn’t announced any results.

it also doesn't reflect well on their candidate. Mitt appears to be a much classier guy than his freeper followers.
