The left began their full-blown assault on the Anglicans/Episcopalians about 30 years ago (ordination of women, openly homosexual clergy, etc.) and I think they did this because they viewed the Anglican Communion as a “test case” for the main war against Catholics.
From what I can tell, they are now using the global warming hoax to determine which Evangelical groups might be vulnerable.
