Low water levels on Lake Superior and possible causes thereof.

The lake’s water depth above sea level:
* Average: 601.92 feet
* Current level: 600.25 feet.
* Lowest recorded level: 599.92 feet in 1926

Hum...so..perhaps we have more water vapor in the air contributing to this so called “global warming?”
To: Huntress
Ice from Lake Superior gathers near the lighthouse on Wisconsin Point near Superior, Wis. Even with warmer temperatures the ice still remains from this past winter. More evidence for global warming.
To: Huntress
Good thing they’re drying up, we’ll need the additional land to make up for all the US coastline that is getting submerged through global warming.

So what happened in 1926? Was there global warming and/or climate change from all those SUVs?

“Low water levels on Lake Superior and possible causes thereof.”
I can tell you right now what the MSM will say were the ‘possible causes’—George Bush; Dick Cheney; the Pentagon;
the Christian Right; two-parent traditional families; the Catholic Church; the late Jerry Falwell; and rampant uncontrolled gun ownership.
That about sums it up...(just select from the above list and insert into the news template for ‘possible causes’, wherever appropriate)
To: Huntress
..and possible causes thereof. The cause is obvious. Bush' tax cuts to the wealthy have led to more economic activity which has resulted in increased CO2 emissions, more global warming over the last 5 years and thus greater evaporation from the lake.
If you want water back to its earlier level, just roll back the tax cuts to those making $200,000 and over.
