a majority of citizens in eight of 14 countries surveyed (and a plurality in four) expect China to catch up with the United States economically and that they are not worried about it.

However, the poll also shows that a majority or near majority of respondents in most countries do not trust China will act responsibility beyond its borders.

This "poll" is one big contradiction. Anyway unfortunatly most humans are idiots/sheep anyway.

Important to know that the US economy in the last 5 years GREW by the size of the economy of China.

The Chinese are falling behind, but you wouldn’t know it by what gets reported in the news.
