Sort of like Iraq, if you go back to the antics with Chalabi; equate him with Abbas, and Saddam to Arafat

Sort of but not quite.
The circumstances of this game (Palestinians and Israels)is VERY well known with few hidden pitfalls.
Everything has been out on the table for years and years.
Changing the players do not mean anything. the script is exactly the same. Same producer, same director, occasionally changing actors.
The end of the story is always exactly the same.

Iraq was a little bit different. But,...close.
