Ok, still waiting to hear how the state department can approve adhereance to the charter and principles of an internationalist organzation, without ever mentioning or defending our Constitution or Bill of Rights as a proper form for government to follow in the 'Americas'.
But here's were it gets worse. To end run around the US Constitution and the duly elected Congress, the state department sets up funds ( US taxpayer dollars) and then arranges for them to be distributed by 'business interests' and 'internationalist politicians' from the OAS. This is ABSOLUTELY contrary to how our constitutional government is supposed to operate, and it is how our tax money is being LOOTED from the American people with NO OVERSIGHT by elected representative.
So in this example, the state department representatives work with the OAS to set up
United States Fund "to search for and develop new mechanisms for inter-American cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean in the areas of training, research, information and mobilization of resources from the private sector.".
One of their charges is to
Strengthen the capacity of The Trust for the Americas to serve the OAS as an entry point for alternative sources of funding and as a forum to maximize partnership possibilities among private, governmental and academic institutions.
The Trust for the Americas As a not for profit affiliate of the Organization of American States, the Trust is able to develop and execute targeted development programs that can quickly respond to the emerging needs of OAS member states.
Ultimately, through our state department representatives, tax money goes to a 'trust' run by the wealthiest corporate executives in the world, who get to decide how American tax money is to be spent to further THEIR OWN INTERESTS.
