Remember, they suffered no physical injuries, they did no jail time. They were publicly accused, but also publicly exonerated by agent of the state.

$2.000,000 plus lawyer’s fees is about right.

I am listening to the Mr Evens.

His dad suffered type 1 diabetes. (stress related).

His grandfather died of a heart-attack during the investigation.

I don’t care what they are offered. Their costs alone were near a million. $2 million is a drop in the bucket when you consider what Nifong has done. Taxpayers in NC should be outraged that such an occurrence has cost them. This goes all the way to the Governor, who appointed the idiot.
