I’m not particularly opposed to this provision. Foreigners who are willing to give their lives for this country should be granted citizenship at the end of their service.
We already allow legal non citizen residents serve.
I’m with you, if they’re willing to pay the price of citizenship in America, they’re welcome. This is one provision of that bill that doesn’t constitute amnesty.
Of course, as a former draftee, I support return of the draft for all Americans as well.

If so, after their military service, they officially should leave the USA, apply at a US Embassy or Consulate in the country they originally left from, and maybe due to that service they can get a “credit”, but they should not be given valid residence status in the USA until their application is approved and they take NO cuts in line in front of those who legally applied from outside of the United States who are already in the system.

I'm with you on this one- Especially for those serving in a combat zone.
If they're willing to die for it, well that's more than enough rubber hitting the road for me.
