Well, he’s bordering on self pity and a victim mentality, which aren’t supposed to be conservative themes.
As for his Talkers speech, he didn’t think enough to personally show up. Seems like he didn’t care. If he didn’t care, why should CSPAN? Why should any of us?
Taking Trent Lott’s comment as some kind of physical threat is what I would expect from a lightweight, not Savage.
