I’m faxing this to Lott:
“I’m sure senators on both sides of the aisle are being pounded by these talk-radio people who don’t even know what’s in the bill,” Lott said. He added that the “leadership will have to be prepared to do what needs to be done.”
Spoken like a true member of the Democrat Party (sic)!
What is the mental malfunction with you Republicans lately? Whatever it is, you are DESTROYING all confidence in this country.
What is your final solution for us Americans and our talk radio?
Traitors all of you fools in Washington. My God have mercy on you for what you are doing to our society.

I never liked Lott. Supposedly a “veteran” conservative politician,he always, with that overcoiffed hairdo, reminded me of nothing so much as some TV news anchor now entering his 4th decade on the air at some little market about 100 miles from some 2nd tier Southern City like Montgomery Alabama. That big flap about his statement about Strom Thurmond at his 100th birthday, lots of FReepers rushed to defend and rationalize, but now , doesn’t it just look like more evidence of what a craven A-hole he is? DON’T DEFEND THESE PEOPLE! They are FINALLY revealing their true colors! If there EVER was a time for a third party, it is NOW! But, wait, I’m dreaming!
Which among the candidates, (that seems to have a real chance) do you think is not already so craven , bought and paid for, to come out in a strong way critically, and unequivocally, about this bill?
