Comments by Republican senators on Thursday suggested that they were feeling the heat from conservative critics of the bill, who object to provisions offering legal status. The Republican whip, Trent Lott of Mississippi, who supports the bill, said: Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.

Yet another reason NOT to give to the RNC when they call or write. Support candidates that support our consitution directly not through the RNC.
Mr. “Hard Candy Shell” hair sounds off...
Well all of the little Socialists are getting their panties in a twist, so I would expect them to all join hands and do something about ‘talk radio’.
All I can see is that there is a problem that the voters of Mississippi have to deal with.
Right on! Surely, after this latest, this ought to put Mississippians in shock.
Surely, with most Mississippians being conservative, the voters there will boot this traitor to conservativism out of there.
Ol’ Trent can no more “deal with that problem” then he can deal with the “problem” of the sun rising in the east.
What’s hysterical is Lott’s inflated sense of self-importance. This guy really thinks he’s got some power.

Hmmm...that sounds ike something Hillary might have said...

Today should be the first day of the beginning of the end of Foghorn’s political career
I can wait for the day when every incumbent is voted out of office. We need Washington back to respecting the people wishes. They voice on talk radio because no one in D.C listens.
The hurricane hit and he had to team up with his trial lawyer brother-in-law and fleece insurers.
Just got through.
Thought I was being overly sensitive. Didnt have much of a comment. I was SHOCKED to say the least. Houston, we have a major problem in DC.
You’ve been to Japan? How recently? My family and I are going to see Tokyo Disney soon and I’m curious
Exactly.
The level of gall and total disregard for the voting public is astonishing. Aside from the security and sovereignty of our nation, the political calculus is of this shamnesty dumbfounding. These morons are legislating themselves (Republicans) into permanent minority status and destroy the great American economy in the process.
If this bill passes, anyone with $1M better be leaving the US if they want to keep a penny of it.
I just got thru to Sen. Lott’s office. Let the gentleman on the phone know that talk radio was not the problem, that Lott and his ilk were.
That hat is an embarrassment, so is the man wearing it.
I think old Trent’s panties are in a wad because he hasn’t been allowed to wear his college cheerleading outfit in public anymore or the skirt doesn’t fit anymore. One of the two.
The RINOs are running the GOP. We have to deal with that problem.
GREAT POST!!!!
Trent Lott has a long way to go until the end of his term WITHOUT talk radio ever defending him again! The next time he shoots off his sorry mouth about something that upsets the liberal media, he can just go stew in his own juices.
