If you think that GWB didn’t have anything to do with Pace’s firing, I’ve got a bridge you may be interested in.

"If you think that GWB didn’t have anything to do with Pace’s firing, I’ve got a bridge you may be interested in." No one has mentioned the high praise and gratitude President Bush gave to Pace during a press conference at the recent G-8 Summit. I heard the whole thing. It was obvious that Bush did not want Pace to leave his post, and he scolded the Senate for damaging the war effort by forcing this issue. THAT being said, even with the demoncrats in power and having to deal with that reality, it is beyond dispiriting to constantly, time and time again, give in to the traitorous rats. This would have made for a prime-time TV-hearing confrontation. Pace, just like Ollie North , would have viscerated the pompous, self-serving, contemptuous salons of the Senate. The only problem with this scenario is whether the media, having been burned once by Ollie, would air such a hearing. I grant that such a hearing would take Pace away from battling the war, but, as I see it, the war has moved to the U.S. Senate. I think we need to fight it there and win.
