HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH THE AMNESTY BILL
Boortz.com ^ | 06/15/2007 | Neal Boortz

Let's cut to the chase here. The pro-amnesty politicians in Washington think that the little snit thrown by the American people is now over. Now that we've had our fun -- now that we've chased the amnesty bill from the floor of the Senate -- they think that they can now bring it back with some meaningless words about amendments and the American people will let it slide this time.

OK ... so Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell, the majority and minority leaders, have reached some sort of a "deal" that will allow amendments to be proposed to the amnesty bill. The likelihood is that no amendments will actually be adopted. If any do make it through they will have no real affect on the amnesty provisions of the bill. It's a smokescreen. Look for the bill to pass the Senate in pretty much its present form ... amnesty and weak border protection intact.

Oh .. .and the president's promise to dedicate 4.4 billion to border security? We were supposed to spend this money anyway under previous border protection laws! Why didn't we? All the president is promising here is to do what the laws that already exist require him to do. He says the money will come from the fines paid by illegals seeking legal residency status. Come on, folks. Do you think those fines are really going to be paid? I can hear the screams from the left right now: "Poor Pablo is trying to raise a family. How can we ask him to pay so much money to the U.S. Government when he needs that money to buy medicine and food for little Pablo and Julio? We need to show our humanity by waiving these fines!" Get with the program, folks. The vast majority of these so-called fines will never be collected. You know it, and so does the president.

Are the Senators right? Is the president right? Is your guard down? Are you tired of fighting the Mexican invasion? If these Senators don't hear from you this bill will be before the house before you can say no hablo Espanol.

Emphasis on “A LOT.” There are a bunch of lily livered “politicians” in the GOP.

Calling, faxing, emailing but will it be enough. I fear not.
I just sent another fax yesterday, but this one to the House Rep.

Maybe some fear can be put into them. The Senate is acting like the House of Lords from two centuries back.

They despise us and can’t wait to urinate on us.

“We need to replace a lot of congressmen.”

It’s beginning to look like we need to replace the whole damn government. This bill is going to be passed. We, the people, mean absolutely NOTHING to these big headed jackasses. I received an email from Mr. Idiot himself, Senator Specter and I have absolutely NO respect for him. We are just a bunch of dummies and they KNOW so MUCH more than we “plain” people. We need to start throwing ALL the bums out with the next election!

Pols are like developers. The never give up, they just fall back and regroup.

They'll be back with a vengeance and a new pig's ear wrapped up in a pretty pink bow.

Is anyone challenging Lindsey Graham yet? I’d love for some wealthy challenger to run against Graham in the republican primary in 2008 and just pound the immigration issue.

I had read here earlier that he would be unopposed in the primary.

If so...that makes me sick.

Incumbents are almost unbeatable in primaries. The system is rigged to make it so. And they know you won’t vote against them in the general election.

These clowns are so used to compromising with each other that they literally cannot understand why we’re not willing to compromise on this bill.

(Of course, their compromise is smoke and mirrors, but that’s what they do.)

What is it about, "We don't care what you want or think, we are going to pass this bill!," the America people don't understand?

I always say that the money I’m not sending to the GOP anymore will be sent to the person running against you. Also I tell them a queit no vote is just a bad as a yes vote.

I received a “Wish President Bush a Happy Birthday” card from Laura, inviting me to donate to the RNC at the same time, naturally. The card I filled out and mailed back essentially said “Mr. President, its with great regret I cannot support you at this time since you insist on pushing immigration legislation with no less then 20 loopholes as noted by Senator Sessions. Kill this bill, enforce existing laws on the books and you will regain my support.”

I sent my faxes yesterday, but unfortunately, my two useless Senators are Specter and Casey, and my letters probably went straight from their fax machines to their trash cans.
