Perhaps a replication of the Czech “Velvet Revolution” in front of every county courthouse in the nation would be better than calling, emailing or faxing. People gathering in the evenings (after work) in front of their courthouses...no slogans, no chants, no voices or signs at all...just the rythmic sound of house keys being shaken. IF the American people are of like mind as we here at FR, I’m sure the crowds would grow each successive evening to a point that could not be ignored by either the media or the politicians. Contacting our “representatives” in DC is useless. They will, as they already have, either lie about the number of calls, emails or faxes, or misrepresent what those contacts entailed. (see Di Fi’s rant about the racist calls she supposedly got) Some sort of open, visible demonstration is what is necessary if this disaster is to be stopped peaceably.
