Just out of interest, say this bill passes. It passes the Senate, the house and is signed.
How will people react? I wonder. I believe they will be angry and then move on thinking another election and retribution at the polls will make it better. If that is the case, we are doomed.
That's a good question, indylindy. If it passes, it will pass because the Bill was not subjected to the Enumerated Powers Act or contained a 'constitutional authority' clause. If it passes, it will pass without the blessings of the Constitution, of course, for the Constitution is not a national political suicide note, but instead, a system of governance which will insure that the blessings of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness will pass to our posterity.
