US and Israel to Mohamed El Baradei:

Step aside or get blasted, Mo.
It would be an act of insanity to do nothing.

Hey, Mohammed, which side are you on?

(Silly question.)

ElBaradei said, citing unidentified intelligence sources for his estimate. But "the longer we delay, the less option we have to reach a peaceful solution."

Delay what? What is it that he is proposing we do?

The TRUE act of madness would be to allow this nation run by a clique of religious fanatics to develop a nuclear weapon and use it on us or our allies.

A truer act of madness is permitting them to continue to seize non-Iranian citizens and hold them as hostages or to allow them to continue to provide military aid and direction to insurgents killing American troops in Iraq and threatening Israel through Hamas.

The head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency said Thursday an attack on Iran over its refusal to freeze programs that could make nuclear weapons would be "an act of madness,"

Allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons would be an even worse act of madness. If we are faced with a situation where those are the only two choices then we must be rational and choose the lesser of two evils and do whatever is necessary to prevent a nuclear Iran.

Placing Somebody with the name “Mohamed ElBaradei” as The head of the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency IS an “an act of madness”.

Whether the U S strikes or not is almost a mute point, because you can bet your bottom dollar the Israelis will. Israel has to, they are Tehran’s number 1 target.

Again, let me remind everyone that if we attack Iran and destroy their nuclear infrastructure, it is *vital* that Iran be partitioned, so that it cannot rebuild their nuclear weapons.

Or else we will have to have a second war, in another 10-20 years.

The partition itself is natural. At a minimum, we would slice off Iranian Khuzestan and Kurdistan. This would take away most of Iran’s oil, and its access to the Persian Gulf.

The Arabs of Khuzestan are oppressed by the non-Arab Persians, and have much more in common with the Iraqi Arabs. And Kurdistan needs to be united into a single state, which would be very friendly with the US.

By doing this, we would neither have to invade Persia or destroy Tehran. But they would no longer be able to afford or build nuclear weapons.

This does mean, though, that in addition to destroying their nuclear infrastructure, we would have to obliterate their military and Revolutionary Guard. But both of these can be done from the air.
