I did not know that and it is unfortunate. However I would not make the conclusion that Christians kill people that do not convert.

In ISLAM, it is acceptable to kill non-believers and apostasy is punishable by death.

Each religion has fringe elements but in ISLAM the fringe is the mainstream. I am not surprised that Pakistan was involved again trying to derail Indo-US relationships.

There are many people throughtout the world who want to kill anyone who doesn't conform to the demands of the local power structure - religion is just the pretext they use to justify it. Most of us understand that these extremists are to Hinduism as the Ku Klux Klan is to Christianity, but you'll always find a few here who react with the typical "Aha! This proves all religions except mine are evil!" type of post.
