There goes my lunch!
My real looking Colgate contains PROPYLENE glycol.
It also has a warning label that states if more than normal amount ingested (think a toddler eating it) to go to hospital!
“New Ipana TOOThpaste!”
I drove my mom NUTS singing that!!
Brusha, brusha, brusha...
Brusha new Ipana,
Brusha, brusha, brusha...
Ipana for your teef, (with a kid’s lisp)
New Ipana TOOThpaste!
I contacted the company that makes JIF Peanut Butter, because someone posted above that SKIPPY is made in Asia.
JIF Peanut Butter, Smuckers Jellies, Crisco Oil, and Pillsbury products are ALL made in the USA.
I told the young lady at the JIF hotline that they should advertise this promimently on their website.
After 35 years of being a loyal SKIPPY fan, I am now moving to JIF.
That’s great! You remembered the whole song!! I loved Bucky Beaver! Ah — the fifties — those were the days!
This book is absolutely prescient on the subject - China's Trapped Transition: The Limits of Developmental Autocracy.
The Chinese economic miracle is so dependent on exports that China's crash may come far sooner than I expected.
One thing to watch closely is how many foreign tourists and athletes are poisoned at the 2008 Bejing Olympics. If that is as big a diisaster as it's shaping up to be, nothing can keep the public from forcing the government to act.
Don`t we produce ANYTHING in this country anymore??? Can`t trust the food. Can`t trust toothpaste. Can`t even trust food produced in this country, for crying out loud. Beef loaded with anti-biotics. Chicken loaded with arsenic. Here is some more.
“The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of various “Thomas & Friends” wooden railway toys.”
“Manufactured In: China”

” The Consumer Product Safety Commission recalls 1.5 million Thomas and Friends products as in Thomas the Tank Engine because a Chinese factory used lead paint. A consumer watchdog says 20 percent of China’s toys and baby clothes are substandard.”

"'Colgate does not import toothpaste into the United States from South Africa,' said the statement from Colgate-Palmolive. 'In addition, the counterfeit packages examined so far have several misspellings including: isclinically, SOUTH AFRLCA and South African Dental Assoxiation.'"
Yeah. Welcome to the future.
There is a lot of people that dont/cant read the labels.
Yeah... sure...
But just WHERE are my glasses and why did I come into this room??
I remember using it, but I don’t recall the brand name.
I remember the smell also....I think the can was tan with
brown lines, and the can was more of a flask shape. The
cap would be twisted, and holes were exposed for the powder
flow through.
You should tell stories...there is way too much of this
false advertising/lying/misrepresention going on...
it’s just like the old days...

Yes, it was tan with dark burgundy stripe around it at the top of the flask shaped can. The brand is like on the tip of my tongue. Could it have been colgate? It made a total mess when you tried to shake the powder out of the can, LOL
Also, in doing a search looks like powdered toothpaste is making a comeback for those that do a lot of airplane travel!
