Does anyone think it can possibly be that NO ONE on the President’s staff reads free republic and in particular these VERY posts? What does it take? We have here a whole village full of intelligent people, writing posts perfectly explaining the absurdity of amnesty along with Ann’s great column. Why does this admin. not drop this inanity?

The unchecked "immigration/invasion" is a multi step platform to ID chip implants.

1.Millions of undocumented need documenting.
2.National ID cards for everybody, Yea!!!!
3.National ID card fraud causes a collosal banking failure/terrorist threat, that affects nearly 100% of all Americans. Boooo!!!
4.ID implant chips save the day Yea!!!!!

They're playing us like a fiddle!

They think we’re retards and bigots. I think they’re corrupt.

Our only hope is to stall this bill in the legislature until a new executive takes office. If they pass it while Bush is still in office, we’re screwed. It can’t be undone.

I don't think they read National Review, the American Spectator or even the Weekly Standard in this White House, much less FReeper postings. (Ronald Reagan, by comparison, read NR and Human Events cover-to-cover, each week). George Bush is not much of a reader. In any event, the White House has long been isolated from mainstream conservatives, and now, thanks to their insistence on the "I Can't Believe It's Not Amnesty!" bill, conservatives are alienated from them as well.
