I wasn't impressed at first but Savage persisted on the subject and then made it personal as he always does and started hitting on issues about ALL animals that I'm currently grappling with so I appreciated Savage's UNIQUE way of tackling an issue that's he's passionate about and milking it for all it's worth.

I USED to be a member of PETA and they never impacted me like that. Sometimes infidels think a show was great and I don't and vice-versa, for me it hit home so when Savage does that it's a home-run as far as I'm concerned.

I’m a strong conservative but have always loved animals and have been a conservationist. Must be the influence of St Francis and Teddy Roosevelt. I liked Savage’s commentary today about the whale and animals, and I am of like mind.

I thought the whale show was one of his best. I share his dismay at a 130-year-old whale being killed. I’m not a fan of hunting animals for sport, and I don’t care about the legality or illegality of it - I just agree with Savage that it was too bad that this noble creature had to be killed. That whale was definitely killed for profit, not for sustenance.
