Reid stated a few hours ago on the radio he’s not allowing anymore amendments and to take the bill as is. He wants 25 from the GOP to sign off on it or he’s not bringing it back.

Got it in one, but even more shameful that the South Carolina Weeping Pansy, Kyl, Martinez and McConnell are cooperating in this confidence trick with Reid and Kennedy. Here is the deal they’re offering: we’ll let you propose some amendments, which we will ensure are voted down, in exchange for you voting to invoke cloture to bring the bill back to the floor. How many of them will be stupid enough to buy this, or pretend like they’ve bought this so they can defy their constituents?

“later this year” when the Senate revisits the issue sounds good to me! Closer to the elections. More time for opposition to organize. Make sure you get involved in some way with FAIR or other organizations. Develop e-mail contact lists of opponents. Collect the appropriate numbers to call for easy e-mail. Fax and write on an ongoing basis to close down illegal entry to the country, enforce the laws against employers. Get involved in local politics so that you can organize locally . . . if we sit on our fannies they will sell the country down the river (across the river?). Basically, make them regret stirring “us” up.

No, actually the Amnesty Bill for for Jeb’s son, “44” as Jorge likes to call him. The Bush presidential dynasty will continue, as soon as the old conservative base is replaced with the newly created “legal illegal mexican” voting base with a half-mexican Bush running for President.
Bush is tired of dealing with conservative Republicans - so he plans to replace the old base and import a new base to do the job that Republicans refuse to do - vote for his nephew, George P. Bush aka “44”.
