The Bush Administration is busy imprisoning combat soldiers and border guards. Moore is a publicity pig.

What the heck does one statement have to do with the other?

Moore is just seeking publicity, and the Bush Administration is looking more like Michael Moore followers every day.

I wonder if he violated another US law in his attempt to export illegal products? If the US courts determines that the film was produced illegally it would be contraband and not acceptable for export. Would this be the case?

"I had to literally get a master of my film brought to Canada here so it could be safely placed in a country that would not violate my civil liberties," Moore said in an interview with CBC Radio

Try buying a machinegun up there Mikey .... let's check that civil liberty.

Doesn’t it seem that, for all his stupid publicity stunts this time around, the media is mostly ignoring Mikey’s new crockumentary? May this hack liar fade into the permanent obscurity he so richly deserves.

LOL! That reminds me of the Candid Camera episode in which they set up a Canadian border crossing in Arizona. They told people they invaded over night. That was funny.

If Moore really wanted to be controversial, he would call homosexuality an "illness" and see how long his civil liberties remained intact in Canada.

Well OK but it’s a stretch at best.

Still a legend in his own mind, I see.

This publicity stunt can now be deemed a success.

How much does anyone want to bet that print and TV ads for Sicko will state "the movie the U.S. government tried to confiscate." After all, Moore has a mainstream media source to back up his "claims." It wont be long until the enabling U.S. media run with this.

Moore needs to generate interest in Sicko because the subject matter is not as sensationalistic as high school students murdering classmates in cold blood, or U.S. presidents lying and fumbling about in the aftermath of an attack on our soil.

Compared to his previous two movies Sicko sounds kind of boring.

I caught an ad for the movie and he is still using the bullhorn shtick -- this time outside Gitmo. I guess he still thinks that is funny, I gather he is trying to say that our detainees get socialized medical care, while Americans don't. I can't believe even Moore would be that insulting to out intelligence. Of course they get government health care -- because they are in government custody. And yet these are the same clowns who claim we treat the prisoners badly.

Well, yeah, I just wanted to jab Moore and Bush at the same time for my own personal enjoyment.
