Manufactured news is best anyway. It’s all the stupid proletariat can understand anyway.

Make ‘em take their little spat to Gaza - one can join Fatah and the other Hamas.

While referring to Couric as a "nice person," Rather said "the mistake was to try to bring the 'Today' show ethos to the 'Evening News,' and to dumb it down, tart it up in hopes of attracting a younger audience." Tart it up maybe, but I don't think anybody dumbed it down more than Dan.

Moonves, Kaplan, Rather.
Even the Three Stooges laugh at them.

Rather knows as much about news as he does about non-fiction.

“the evening news will die.”
It already has. Poor Moonves just hasn’t received the memo.

Everyone here predicted KC would be a complete failure even before her first show aired and we were all correct. Why CBS didn’t see failure coming or chose to overlook it and hire her anyway (at an incredible salary) is interesting in itself.

Why can't the libs just leave the building quietly never to be heard from again when they FAIL.
And, why do I think the Rather remarks and subsequent backlash are just another pathetic liberal attemt for publicity on Couric's failing newscast (kawf) ????

Former CBS news anchor Dan Rather escalated a feud with his former employer Tuesday, saying CBS Corp. Chief Executive Leslie Moonves "doesn't know about news." So they have something in common then...

I would watch KC if she changed from black to pink lipstick.

Makes me wonder if this whole “controversy” is just a ploy to boost some kind of ratings on CBS.

Dan Rather joins O.J. Simpson in being forever in denial.
Neither will never be able to admit, even to themselves, what they did.
