But why is Romney even a keyword in this article? Ted Kennedy or Bill Clinton would be more appropriate since they were diddling with office staff while married.

No - it isn't. Abraham had several wives. So did Isaac. Jacob married two sisters. And don't get me started on the kings of Israel. For millenia, polygamy was a natural institution. Its homosexual relationships the Bible condemns, not multiple marriages.
