The Connecticut for Lieberman Chair, Dr. John Orman, called for Lieberman's resignation saying that he "crossed the line" and "no longer represents the views of the citizens of Connecticut." Orman, a longtime critic of Lieberman, took control of the minority party back in January.
OK.
How and why does a "longtime critic" of Lieberman "take control" of a pro-Lieberman party?
If Lieberman DID resign, what would they name the party? The "Connecticut erstwhile for Lieberman" party?

If Lieberman DID resign, what would they name the party? The "Connecticut erstwhile for Lieberman" party? That's the beauty of it. They'd be able to run an anti-Lieberman candidate against Lieberman AND use his name to do so.

I think Joe will form the Judean People’s Liberation Front, having been kicked out of the People’s Front for the Liberation of Judea. Or something like that...
