I don’t know which makes me more angry, the attempt at amnesty or taking me for a fool. We didn’t enforce the last bill. We have the laws we need. Just enforce them
How does anyone know what is in that piece of legislation with so many pages. There is not one good reason to have so many pages when what is needed it to ENFORCE the laws on the books and then get back to us.
Build the fence, identify illegals, deport criminals and deadbeats first, and no anchor babies. No amnesty and no path to citizenship for illegals as well. Why does that take so many pages unless they are hading something in the details.
President Bush swore an oath to defend and protect the Constitution not to give amnesty to illegals who are breaking the law by being here.

Well, even though your idea would normally be intellectually sound, I simply cannot agree with you for the simple reason that the Democrat ideas (if that’s not an oxymoron) have been proven awful over decades of failure. Having said that, is there no policy that might happen to arise from Democrats that I might agree with? No, there are some, like rational environmental policy (oops, there I go again using the word rational in re: Democrats). Ultimately, this still means that I cannot imagine a scenario where I would vote for a Democrat candidate, because you get the whole philosophy, not just one policy. If it comes to voting, I am tempted to reconsider the idea of simply not voting: I can’t bring myself to vote for a Democrat; by the same token, I am so disgusted with the R’s, I might just stay home. As much as it sickens me, it might take something as awful as a total electoral wipe out for the R’s to get back to their roots ‘cause they sure don’t give a sh*t now.
Start fining the employers big $$$ and with hold federal funds from those cities who give them scantuary...might even want to yank 501C3 status from the churches for breaking the law.
