Tony Snow appearing soon on FOX & Friends to discuss the immigration bill.
Ping!
What else is there left to explain?!
This thread probably rates a barf alert.
Tony Snow will be on Fox and Friends - like right now.
I am at work, but please let us at work know how it goes.
Cheers,
sl
Explaining would be a change. This will be another condescending 3 minutes, in which Tony will try to tell us how short sighted and ignorant we all are.
Oh I KNOW, I KNOW....
IT’S NOT AMNESTY!
I notice that one of you used the word “discuss” and the other used “explain” when referring to Tony Snow’s appearance. I’ve seen him a couple of times holding forth on the amnesty bill. He neither explained nor discussed. He spouted pure propaganda, most of it untrue, about the whole program. I know that he is just a mouthpiece for the president but I’ve lost all respect for him because of this.
Ping.
Hm that is nothing like what he said on Sunday in the interview with Chris Wallace.
However you are free to believe as you will.
“What else is there left to explain?!”
He’s going to tell us what’s behind President Bush’s insistance on pushing comprehensive immigration reform in a critical election year, risking and losing both the House and the Senate.
He’ll go into great detail on why amnesty for illegals and their employers, along with a secured open border are critical to furthering the agenda for a North American Union.
Thanks for the ping..
You’re welcome, Mom.
Morning, save.
"¡Bienvenido a los estados unidos! You have a FULL PARDON Amigo! De nada!!!

"Awwww! Tough noogies there Scooter! No Pardon for you. Don't drop the soap!!
Good morning, Bahbah :-)
This is what the critics call amnesty:
Over time, illegal immigrants would have to pay fines and fees of more than $9,000 (plus thousands more for each family member). They'd have to prove they're working and have no significant criminal record. They'd have to learn English and American civics. And, if they want legal permanent residence, they'd have to return to their home country to apply for it there. Getting a green card would take at least eight years, citizenship at least 13.
Some amnesty.
In a perfect world, it might be reasonable to say that everyone here illegally should be deported. Law breaking, obviously, cannot be ignored. But if that were possible at all - which is very dubious - the cost would run far into the billions.
reform = actual enforcement of existing immigration laws
amnesty = Bush/Kennedy/McCain/Reid plan

And how much does it cost to educate and provide free healthcare to the millions of “undocumented americans”?
