It is really strange how some presidents never got the memo. Should be written in as part of the oath of office.

But for Bush to completely ignore the Constitution, his conservative base, as well as the republican party in general on this requires him to ignore the basics of party politics ... ethics, morals, and loyalty to the American people.

Can't be done without our political system suffering grave consequences. Nay, not just grave, but fatal consequences.

Bush’s oath of office means as much to him as Clinton’s marriage vows mean to him.
