There are problems with your telling of the story.

Didn’t these guys tape this sorid episode? If so, I would think the tape would have been proof they raped the 17 year old girl. Why did the jury find the rape not credible? There is very little discussion on why the rape was thrown out. Is it possible that the 17 year old consent, but realized she would be in trouble if she came home at 3 am. Did she make the story up to get out trouble in her own house?

I’m sure the convicted felons realized they would get a harsher punishment if found guilty at trial so they copped a plea. Did the other 4 really believe they were guilty or did they want to avoid long jail terms? We will never know. Usually the one who squeals first and provides states evidence serves a shorter sentence.

Lots of unanswered questions based on this story. Would need to see the evidence from the trial and I want to know why the jury threw out the rape charge.

There are no problems with my telling the story.

According to Georgia law someone who is unconscious cannot give consent. The 17 yr old was either unconscious or under the influence. The reason that it has not been in the stories is because the msm has an agenda. Google this guys name and you will find a massive "freedom" campaign, much like mumia abu.

The jury foreman admitted they didn't want to ruin his life. They acquitted him of a rape charge that others plead guilty too. They convicted him of what they thought was a lesser crime. They were outraged at the sentence. There are stories that some in the jury wanted to convict him of rape but settled for the lesser charge because of the sentence.
