Mahmod Mahmod = Mohammed Mohammed.
An article posted here a few days ago said that if you take into acount about 16 or 17 different spellings, Mohammed is now the second most popular boy’s name in England.
I pointed out that there were actually more different spellings than the ones the article listed, including Mehmet and Mehmed. I think that Mahmod is yet another, at least it’s the first I’ve noticed it. It wouldn’t surprise me if Mohammed was already top of the list. And maybe soon Mohammed will pass Smith as the most popular last name, too.
Going to be hard to look people up in the phone book when everyone in the country is named Mohammed M. Mohammed.
Why do they even bother with names? If they are all going to use the same one, what’s the point?
