Yoko refers to son Sean as 'it'.

Poor kid, having Yoko sing lullabies to him as an infant.

Dennis Leary put it best, “What kind of country is this when John Lennon gets six bullets in the chest, and Yoko is standing right next to him and not a single f’ing bullet? Explain that to me.”

Someone on this forum has a tagline which wonders why six shots hit Lennon and none hit Yoko...

What kind of country is this when John Lennon gets six bullets in the chest, and Yoko is standing right next to him and not a single fing bullet? Explain that to me. Chapman's insanity plea was premeditated as well....

"She said Lennon uttered no dying words when he was shot and killed by deranged fan Mark Chapman outside their Dakota apartment building in Manhattan on Dec. 8, 1980."
When you think about it, Chapman, Yoko, and Lennon were all pretty "deranged" in different ways.
To: Millee
The thing that struck me the night Lennon was killed was that after Howard Cossell announced the killing, that the response from Dandy Don was to announce the down and yardage.

I’m guessing that Lennon’s last words were along the lines of Chicago Mayor Anton Cermak’s to FDR: “Why wasn’t it you?”

Yeah. I misread the post and thought it had something to do with a lemon.
To: Jack Wilson
“The songs Ono played on Sunday’s show included Lennon’s “Beautiful Boy” (about Sean); “Liverpool Lou,” which was written by Scaffold, a Liverpool group that included Paul McCartney’s brother, and “Magic,” a song composed by Sean.”
And her own composition, “Cats Being Gutted”.
To: tumblindice
The B-side of “Cats Being Gutted” was “Cats in Heat.”
I don’t think it would have mattered what time John Lennon arrived home. His murderer was laying in wait for him.

True. But Sean probably thinks it was his fault.

Funny. I misread it also, and thought it had something to do with Jack Lemon.

It is surprising so many people have so many nasty things to say about this widow. I guess that is just the way of things, we harangue about how the DUers dis people then many do the same thing here referencing how it was her that should have been shot/killed. It is really sad.
