Right now, abortion is the #3 issue on my list of priorities in choosing the next candidate. Issue number one is the war on terror. Issue number two is securing our borders and stopping illegals from coming into the country.

Giuliani will lose the primary for this reason: his stubbornness in clinging to the culture of death.

Every once in awhile, I start to think I should maybe vote for Rudy, as he is a proven leader and he would be a tough terror warrior.

Then, it strikes me again that I would be voting for someone who either (1) really believes it is OK to slaughter unborn children, or (2) doesn’t believe it is OK, but put his own career above doing the right thing and opposing the slaughter.

Either way, there is no way I could pull a lever for him in a primary. In the general election, I suppose I will, but not without holding my nose.

Just those pictures of him in a dress are enough to turn me off to Rudi.

I’ll say this right here and now.... I’d vote FOR him as a Commie Liberal who TELLS THE TRUTH over any of the “Now that I am running for President I am Pro-Life” LIARS out there.

But then again... in theory, practice and theory are the same thing... but in practice they are not.

Rudy wont get my vote.

He also did nothing but photo ops for 9-11.
Although he did do that well.

So we’ll have the choice of voting for the pro-abortion Rudy, or the crazily pro-abortion Hillary.

Social conservatives in the media must stand behind presidential nominees who embrace the sanctity of life. Sacrificing these values is not worth the price of victory.

More importantly, we must unite around one candidate we can all support.

Otherwise, with open primaries, the leftwing mayor will slip between a Romney or Thompson and grab the nomination with only 30%-40% of the party's support.

Normally in politics, you never approve the whole package, but eliminates the alternatives from the bottom taking into the consideration that you should calculate the electability of the candidate. If Rudy will be the ROP candidate on the election day he will most likely win the presidency, thus he is the best candidate.

There are many Republicans who believe the party should take a turn to the left on social issues.

This is the most widely disseminated and silliest non-sequiturs in recent memory - a line spouted continually by the Rudy advocates.

Those who believe this need to explain why Webb, Tester, and Casey all felt they had to run as pro-life (and pro-2A) Democrats to win. The small difference the pro-life position made (with 10% single-issue pro-life voters vs. 8% single-issue pro-choice/pro-abortion) could very easily have made the difference in at least two of these races by taking abortion off the table.
