Sadly there are too many “genuin Christians” that operate on a less than Biblical worldview, still sifting all information through the doctrines of secular humanism, which of course preaches that we are to marry when we “feel” that we are in love.
The barking, drooling, babbling stupidity of making THE most EVERYTHING-changing horizontal decision you'll ever make, without being crystal-clear on what the Bible teaches, is utterly staggering to me yet professed Christians do do it all the time.

Interesting. I was taught that love is a decision. Infatuation is a feeling.
Every day, for almost 30 years, my husband and I wake up, deciding to love one anther for one more day. It solidifies the commitment when you are deciding to do a thing, rather than “feeling” it.
