Nope, that was hilarious. The final scene - Chase messed with every possible ending we dreamed up: some guy walking into the diner to cap Tony, something happening to Meadow in her car, something with AJ. I was totally wrong, but I loved it.

You’re right on that account. I actually got nervous in the final minute, and I don’t react to movies like that any more. Just the same, that’s a cheap trick that won’t wear well down the road.
Sounds like he left a lot of cliffhangers; just in case he wants to make more money on the Sopranos in the future. He also wants as much of his audience as he can to come back in the future.
