I sometimes wonder if there is a type of devise that monitors where a call
originates from, and upon detection lets them know what the possible attitude is in
that particular area, and if the call should be answered

I know I know, goofy thought, but I warned ya'...LOL

Hard to tell, they may be stereotyping by area code but that would be long shot at best.
