Yesterday I listened to an old tape of Rush Limbaugh addressing the National Association of Broadcasters in 2003, which occurred just after the Donovan McNab kerfuffle, after the revelation of his addiction, and before he went to rehab.

It was a powerful speech, telling his audience the power of talk radio, and that power was proved last week. Back room deals in Congress will never be the same.

And the fact that many talkers also are Freepers or at least check us out, doesn't hurt what we do here as well.
