If Paris is so mentally ill or suicidal - and she sure did not look it day before going to jail - then she never should have been sent home but instead to a mental facility.

Prisoners have committed suicide before and they have still been kept in jail. All the sheriff has to do is take reasonable precautions. More likely, some money changed hands.

If the Sheriff is a Democrat then there might also have been some political pressure since Paris is a Democrat.

This whole ordeal has sent the BS meter into overdrive. Now that she’s in a mental facility, perhaps she will get some “help”. Drugs? A psychiatrist? I thought the reason she flipped out was because she wasn’t taking her regular psychotropic drugs. So many stories....
