Paris doesn’t have a “panic button”.

Every ell has a panic / call button. They are not on thier person and its not special treatment its just the way the cells are set up.

My bf can't remember whether there was a "panic button" in his cell, but there was a speaker on the wall. Mainly that was used to rouse the prisoner for early court appearance, etc.

Of course, that was over 5 years ago, so maybe they do have those things now.
