You're gonna get socialized medicine.
You're gonna get firearms laws far worse than the assault weapons ban.
You're gonna a couple of more Ruth Ginsburgs who will make decisions about God, guns, gays and every liberal issue that will haunt you for the rest of your life.
You're gonna get environmentalists determining our energy policy.
You're gonna get a gutted military.
You're gonna get a retreat in the war on terror.
And you're gonna deserve every bit of it
Last night at a Republican gathering, I stated that I was going to be voting for the Republican nominee, even if it's Rudy. I don't want him, I'm not supporting him in either the Straw Poll or the Caucus but by golly, if he's our nominee, I'm voting for him. When my choice is between Rudy or Hillary--no brainer--I'll take Rudy.
So you think anyone who criticizes the President is Bush bashing? Pardon me for not realizing we had already given up free speech. I thought only part of it had been usurped.

That's certainly true since the previous REPUBLICAN Congress was unable to make Bush's temporary tax cuts permanent. In fact, the REPUBLICANS were only able to pass them as temporary as all our RINOs fought the conservatives.

Going to get that anyway since big business who controls the RINOs and some pseudo-conservatives wants to dump their costs on the taxpayer.

Let me guess...you believe that Bush, Rudy, Romney or McCain will make THE NEXT APPOINTMENT to the SC someone on the order of Scalia and upset the apple cart we have had for years.

And apparently once again, you've been out-of-it and failed to notice those RINOs that marched up to the WH and told Bush they'll be voting to leave Iraq come Sept., long before the '08 election.
Now I've responded to all your nonsense and non-facts, but you still have not answered my question about WHY you and the other pseudo-conservatives find it necessary to trash Reagan. I suspect the other poster who answered me that you guys are all American-HATERS had the correct answer.
With all due respect, we (the conservatives) have not had much of a say in running the party since 2000. I can tell you that as a (until recently) minor level party official. Since 2000, the national and state parties have been firmly in the hands of the Bush team. When they say jump, the state parties have been saying "how high." The reason, the Bush team controls the money spigot in the party. I have seen more than one instance of that up close here at home.
The only time conservatives get more than lip service from the party is when we yell (Harriet Miers, Dubai, and recently, Amnesty). Perhaps if the party would pay more attention to the people who put them in office, we wouldn't have to yell so often or so loudly.
So who is to blame for where we are? The folks running the show and making the decisions? Or everyone else?
