Don just had the idea the day before yesterday but it's taking shape fast.
Sgt Dan is surveying Oceanside and negotiating for support and room for all the bikes and people. He plans to meet the group in LA and lead us in with his jeep displaying Old Glory and the Marine Corps flag.
A Lady in Chula Vista is going to bring people with banners of support.

If you can borrow the soft tail but not the girlfriend, Don will have his digital camera. (You can see his website above for some of photos of Navy planes, Marines, etc.) As an extra bonus, maybe you can talk to Don and convert him from tin to wood and sail!

A man named Don Dinsmore forwarded Red a letter yesterday from his son, dated 19 December 2006. Don is retired Navy. His career as a PAO began in Vietnam and ended with Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has two sons who are Marines. One is a sergeant in Camp Pendleton. The other is currently deployed with the 3/1 in Iraq. He is .Capt. Jeffrey Dinsmore

Jeff is a mustang, worked his way up from private to captain, and won the Bronze Star in Iraq. Personally, I wouldn’t want to get on the fighting side of him or his little brother.
