The complexion of the electorate is changing so dramatically that the average American as you and I know him the honest, hard-working American who comprehends the roots of our republican form of government and wants to preserve it at all costs -- will soon become a minority participant in all elections.
That canary died a while back, I think.
The real problem is that few seem to want to confront the inexorable logic and deal the implications of such a tragedy. Yet, history has many terrible lessons to teach us regarding the collapse of republics.
We're terribly slow learners.
