Once again, how is the shamnesty bill good for the GOP? Nothing is better than this bill. You are being an absurd apologist for Bush here (surprise).
Amnesty failed once already. This is far worse. It not only seeks to make the same mistake twice, but to do so in a far more sweeping manner.
Bush has NO BUSINESS working with Ted Kennedy. NONE. He has a veto pen. If he used it, THAT would force the Dems to work with the pubbies (as with the Iraq deadline in the budget).
But he doesn't want to veto this bill. HE WANTS TO SIGN IT. He is working AGAINST conservatives here. And all you can do is rationalize it away.
