I can’t believe that some liberals are bigoted against a Mormon running for president. Since we are supposed to be tolerant and celebrate diversity, we cannot hold a person’s religion against him.

That is true in theory only, at least in this forum. You can read the postings here in FR and find out very quickly how Mitt Romney’s religion is very emphatically being held against him.

Have you ever noticed that a person who calls himself a "Liberal" is anything but liberal in his thinking?

They will not debate, they either shout you down or attempt to say that only a "racist", "idiot", or "sexist" would have a differing view from them.

I'm not a Romney supporter, nor am I am member of the LDS Church. But, it kills me that they seem to hate this guy simply for having a religion that differs from their's.
